Citroen paint codes - Location
As with most car manufacturers Citroen paint codes can be found in several locations. The most reliable place is inside the drivers side door shut on a white and silver sticker (see image). On some models it will be in by the hinges of the door (where the door hangs) as in the below image.
It can also be found on other areas of the door shut (The area revealed when the door is open). The location can vary by model so you may have to scout around all the door shuts / frames to locate the code.
On the picasso model it can often be found in the fuse box in the dashboard. On older models the code may be stencilled onto the suspension top under the bonnet towards the rear of the engine bay.

The paint code in this image is EKQ for Diablo red. The code will often be a 3 or 4 capital letter code. The first 3 digits is your paint code (the paint code is the EKQ part of the code EKQD in this image). The fourth digit represents the factory application method for your vehicles paint job, So is not required to desginate the colour.
We recommend always confirming the colour code on the vehicle prior to ordering. Manufacturers can use several names for the same colour for branding purposes, so this is by far the most reliable way to ensure the correct colour is ordered.
If you cannot locate your paint code on the vehicle the next best alternative is to contact a local Citroen dealer parts / service department with your registration / VIN number. They will be able to confirm your colour from the relevant manufacturer database. (Alas only dealers have access to this system)
When placing an order please provide as much information as you can. Vehicle paint code systems can vary widely so we will use these extra details to double check your colour code and ensure we provide you with the correct colour for your vehicle.
